Pamela, a senior associate at Turken & Heath, LLP, has over 16 years of civil litigation experience, including the drafting of pleadings, discovery demands, expert disclosures, motions and subpoenas, and the independent handling of all phases of pre-trial discovery, including the taking and defending of depositions. Pamela is accomplished in all aspects of trial preparation, including the preparation of clients, facts witnesses and experts for their direct testimony and cross-examination at trial, and the drafting of trial briefs and motions, jury charges and verdict sheets.
In addition to medical malpractice, nursing home and premises liability/personal injury litigation, Pamela is experienced in family law and matrimonial litigation, and has tried and second-seated numerous trials.
Pamela attended Sarah Lawrence College, in Bronxville, New York, where she was captain of the equestrian team and from which she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988. She attended Quinnipiac University School of Law, in Hamden, Connecticut, where she served as editor in chief of the law school newspaper, “The Common Pleas,” and received her Juris Doctorate degree in 1992.
After graduating from law school, Pamela served as a law clerk for Hon. Justice John W. Moran of the Bridgeport (Connecticut) Superior Court for one year. She is certified before the courts of Connecticut to be appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem and Attorney for a Minor Child. For nine years’ of Saturday mornings, Pamela served as a tutor at the Children’s Developmental Center, a volunteer learning center for children with varied educational needs.
